CERAmics

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Michelle earned her BFA and MAT in Apparel Design and Art Education respectively from the Rhode Island School of Design. For her first five years as a public school art teacher, she immersed herself in clay through taking a variety of workshops and classes with different clay artists. In 2001, she relocated to California and started teaching Ceramics to high school students in 2006. Since 2007, Michelle has attended the Idyllwild Arts Academy as a summer participant under the teaching of mentor potters, Greg Kennedy and David Delgado. She continues to work and teach classes out of her studio in Seal Beach, California.
